Hybrid Additive Manufacturing with Polymers

The new technology for customer-specific and innovative plastic and textile production

June 5, 2018 - Congress Centre Zebrastraat - Gent

Additive Manufacturing, better known as 3D Printing, is one of the most important technological evolutions of the moment. It is steadily becoming a well-accepted production technology in addition to conventional techniques.

This international symposium will focus on polymer-based additive manufacturing technologies and their applications in customer-specific and innovative plastic and textile products.

Methods to combine Additive Manufacturing with conventional processes, such as FDM printing on textiles or plastic products, will be at the centre of the symposium's scope!

Confirmed Keynote lectures by Neotech AMT (DE) and Bradford University (UK).

Symposium Topics

  • New polymer-based additive manufacturing technologies
  • Polymeric material developments for additive manufacturing - 3D Printing
  • Applications of additive manufacturing within the plastics converting industry
  • Possibilities of additive manufacturing within textile production
  • 3D Printing on conventionally produced materials
  • Customer-specific and innovative production (including printed electronics)

Call for Papers and Scientific Posters

You are kindly invited to present a lecture or scientific poster at the symposium fitting within the above mentioned topics.
Each lecture will be restricted to 20 minutes and followed by a brief discussion. Commercial talks are not within the scope of the symposium.

Abstracts to be introduced to the symposium secretariat before January 10th, 2018 (please use this template)
Please note that all submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the scientific committee and acceptance will be communicated in February 2018.
