Coming soon: Centexbel QA-CER recycled content

Centexbel will soon be able to offer a new product certification scheme under accreditation, called Centexbel QA-CER recycled content. This scheme is based on EN 15343. This standard defines the way the recycled content in a product is determined. The chain of custody model underlying this calculation is a controlled mixture model as described in ISO 22095.

Traceability is an essential part of certification and, as a company, proof of the origin of the recycled material must be provided. To verify traceability, input materials must have an approved supplier certificate confirming the origin of the recycled material.

CENTEXBEL QA-CER Recycled Content is an international, independent, third-party certification system based on EN 15343, including chain of custody. It goes beyond ISO 14021 in that it identifies all possible waste streams that can be recycled, providing a comprehensive system.

CENTEXBEL QA-CER Recycled Content guarantees the quality system regarding the recycling process and the use of recyclates, both in terms of recyclate content and product quality. With the aim of supporting the sustainability principle.
