On 28 May 2024, a new pilot line for material identification and sorting arrived at the Centexbel site in Grace-Hollogne.
The system, manufactured by RINA, a CISUFLO industry partner, is equipped with an optical scanner to locate the sample to be sorted, a NIR scanner on a mobile stand for material identification, a QR scanner for labelled samples and two robotic arms to pick up the sample and place it in the appropriate container.
All operations are managed by a PC running dedicated software.
