Textielvezel

Al naar gelang hun oorsprong en/of verwerkingsmethode worden textielvezels onderverdeeld in natuurlijke (plantaardige of dierlijke), kunstmatige (chemische behandeling van natuurlijke grondstoffen), synthetische en minerale (metaal, basalt, keramische) vezels. De textielindustrie vereist dat de vezelinhoud wordt aangeduid op labels.

Depending on their source and/or processing method, textile fibres can be subdivided in natural (vegetable and animal), artifical (chemical treatment of natural materials), synthetic, and mineral (metals, basalt, ceramic…) fibres. The textile industry requires that fibre content be provided on labels.

Selon leur origine et/ou méthode de transformation, les fibres textiles sont divisées en fibres naturelles (végétales ou animales), artificielles (traitement chimique de matières naturelles), synthétiques et minérales (fibres métalliques, de basalte, céramiques…). L’industrie textile exige que la composition fibreuse soit affichée sur des étiquettes.
